Directions to East Challoch Holiday Cottage and Bed & Breakfast

East Challoch Farm is close to the village of Dunragit, around 7 miles from Stranraer.

From England, the east and the south: Leave the M6/M74 at Gretna and take the A75 signposted Stranraer. Follow this road past Annan, Dumfries, Kirkcudbright turn-off, Gatehouse-of-Fleet, Newton Stewart and Glenluce.  About two miles after the turn-off for Glenluce, you will join the Dunragit bypass from where you will see a signposted turning for Dunragit on the right. Don’t worry if you miss the first turning as there is a second one further on. From the first turning, follow the road around under a low railway bridge. The entrance to East Challoch is about 200 yards on the right. From the second turning (in case you missed the first), follow the road back through and out of Dunragit village until you reach the entrance of East Challoch around 200 yards on the left before the railway bridge.
From Ayrshire and the north: Take the M77/A77 coastal road from Ayr through Girvan and Ballantrae until you reach Stranraer. Then, take the A75 eastbound and take the first turning for Dunragit as the road turns into the bypass. Drive through Dunragit. As you leave the village, you will see the driveway into East Challoch on the left about 200 yards before the railway bridge.
