East Challoch Farm Dairy Cottage
The Cottage consists of a kitchen/diner, lounge and two bathrooms on the ground floor. Upstairs are the three bedrooms, one double and two twins, all with electric heating and ample wardrobe space and storage. The lounge is cosy with an electric fire, night storage heating and Freeview TV. The kitchen/diner is well equipped with everything you need – an electric cooker, hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine.
There is a separate bathroom and a shower room, both with a toilet, washbasin and heated towel rail. We also provide towels and bed linen in all bedrooms and bathrooms
to the rear of the cottage is a large garden and a small shed in which there are garden chairs for use on the lawned area. We have recently updated our broadband in this house so now it is very good.
The Cottages Grounds
Set in its grounds, East Challoch enjoys spectacular views across Luce Bay, the Mull of Galloway and the Isle of Man, perfect for a relaxing holiday away from it all and an ideal location for exploring this wonderful area. Close by are several excellent gardens that benefit from the mild climate of the Gulf Stream that are open to the public, including the Royal Botanic Gardens at Logan, Castle Kennedy Gardens and Glenwhan.
Guests are, of course, welcome to walk around the farm grounds. Please keep any dogs on a lead as there are young animals to which your dog may not be used. We also keep our own Alpacas at the farm, all our wool is 100% pure alpaca and is available for sale at East Challoch Farm or call to enquire on 01581 400391. We also have raw fleece from them as well.
